Refer & Earn

Share your referral link to bring new builders onto Rival and earn 5% of the revenue their paid tools and agents generate. Earnings are tracked in the Earnings card on your Billing Overview and paid out Net 30 via the Payouts tab.

How it works

  1. Generate your referral link at cortexone.rival.io/user/refer
  2. Share the link with developers or anyone who might build on Rival
  3. When someone signs up through your link, they’re permanently attributed to your account
  4. Every time one of their paid tools or agents is run, you earn 5% of the revenue

The revenue split

When a referred builder’s paid run executes, the run cost is split:

  • 85% to the tool/agent creator
  • 10% to Rival (platform fee)
  • 5% to you (referrer)

Your 5% comes out of Rival’s platform cut - it doesn’t reduce what the creator earns.

Where earnings appear

  • Billing Overview → Earnings card - shows Total Earned, Total Withdrawn, and Available balance, with a Setup Payouts button when no method is connected
  • Transactions tab - individual entries labeled Referral Credits with status (succeeded/completed/failed/pending)
  • Earnings dashboard at cortexone.rival.io/earnings - detailed breakdown of referral revenue over time

Who can participate

  • You must have completed phone verification (which also grants Welcome Credits)
  • You must be the Owner of your organization

If you can’t access the Refer & Earn page, check your role and verification status.

Program rules

  • Only new users who sign up through your link qualify - existing accounts are not eligible
  • Attribution is locked at the moment of signup and cannot be changed retroactively
  • Self-referrals and fake accounts are prohibited and may result in removal from the program

Payout schedule

Referral earnings are calculated monthly and paid out Net 30 - 30 days after the close of the month in which they were earned. Funds land in your Wallet (for tracking) and are sent via your connected payout method.
