Preferences

Your preferences live at Settings → Settings (/user/settings). They’re stored on your account and sync across every device you sign in on. There’s no save button - changes take effect immediately.

Theme

Choose between Light and Dark mode.

  • Light is the default.
  • The theme toggle applies across every page of the app instantly.
  • The theme also follows you across devices once changed.

Default organization

If you belong to more than one organization, your default organization determines where Rival drops you on login.

  • Pick any organization you’re a member of from the dropdown.
  • If unset, Rival opens whichever organization you used last.
  • Changes apply on your next login (and immediately on the current device).

You can switch organizations at any time via the profile dropdown in the bottom-right - the default just decides your starting point. See Organizations for more on switching.

What’s not yet configurable

These aren’t user preferences today:

  • Per-event notification mute (see Notifications for what gets sent)
  • Default LLM provider or model (configured per agent / per conversation)
  • Date and number formatting

These may be added in future releases.
