Teams

Teams let you group members of your organization and control which tools they can access. Instead of giving everyone in your organization access to every tool, you create teams and assign specific tools and members to each one.

Overview

  • Teams live inside an organization
  • Only Owners and Admins can create, edit, and delete teams
  • Members can view and use the teams they belong to
  • Each team has its own set of members and assigned tools

Creating a team

  1. Go to Settings → Workspace → Teams
  2. Enter a team name (must be unique within your organization)
  3. Click Create Team

Team member roles

When you add someone to a team, you assign them one of two roles:

RoleWhat they can do
EditorEdit the team’s tools
ExecutorExecute the team’s tools

These roles are scoped to the team — a member’s team role is independent of their organization role.

Organization roles

Who can manage teams is determined by the member’s organization-level role:

Org RoleCan manage teams
OwnerYes — full access (one per organization)
AdminYes — full access
MemberNo — can only view their own teams

Adding members to a team

  1. Open the team from Settings → Workspace → Teams
  2. Go to the Members tab
  3. Enter the member’s email and select a role (Editor or Executor)
  4. Click Add

Only members who already belong to your organization can be added to a team.

Assigning tools to a team

  1. Open the team
  2. Go to the Tools tab
  3. Select tools from your organization’s tool list to assign to the team

Tools assigned to a team are accessible to all members of that team according to their role.

Managing a team

From the team’s settings page you can:

  • Rename the team
  • Change member roles — switch a member between Editor and Executor
  • Remove members from the team
  • Remove tools from the team
  • Delete the team — only Owners and Admins can delete a team

My Teams

Members can see all teams they belong to from Settings → Workspace → My Teams. This shows each team’s name, your role within it, and how many tools it has.
