Refer & Earn

The Refer & Earn program lets you earn a share of revenue from tools built by the developers you refer to Rival. Every time a tool created by one of your referred builders runs on the platform, you earn a percentage of that execution’s revenue.

Only organization owners can access and share referral links.

How it works

  1. Get your referral link — every Rival organization owner has a unique referral link in Settings → Refer & Earn
  2. Share with builders — share the link with developers in your network, communities, or forums
  3. They build tools — developers who sign up using your link create and publish tools on Rival
  4. You earn — whenever a tool created by a referred builder runs, you receive 5% of that execution’s revenue

Revenue split

Rival charges a 15% platform fee on all tool runs. Of that 15%, Rival gives 5% back to the referrer — the tool creator’s share is never affected.

Referral compensation is paid exclusively from Rival’s platform fee and does not reduce the tool creator’s 85% share.

Earnings cap

Referral earnings are capped at $500 per referred user per calendar year. Once the cap is reached for a specific referred user, earnings from that user resume at the start of the next calendar year.

Find your referral link at Settings → Refer & Earn. Click Copy to copy it to your clipboard.

Anyone who registers using this link is attributed to your account.

Important rules

  • Attribution is set at registration — only new users who sign up using your link qualify. Attribution cannot be applied retroactively.
  • No self-referrals — referring yourself or creating accounts for this purpose is strictly prohibited and results in removal from the program.
  • One referrer per user — each new user can only be attributed to one referrer.
  • Earnings are calculated monthly and paid on a Net 30 basis.
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes on referral earnings.
  • Rival may withhold payments if fraud or manipulation is suspected.

  • You must have an active Rival account in good standing
  • You must be an organization owner to access referral features
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • Self-referrals and duplicate accounts are not eligible

Referral Program Terms & Conditions

1. Program Overview

The Rival Referral Program allows participants (“Referrers”) to earn referral compensation when new users register on the Rival platform using a unique referral link and generate eligible revenue through Rival tool runs.

Participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any updates made by Rival.

2. Eligibility

  • You must have an active Rival account in good standing.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • You must not be subject to sanctions or restricted trade lists.

Rival reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate participation in the Program at its sole discretion.

  • Each Referrer receives a unique referral link.
  • Only new users who register using the Referrer’s link qualify as Referred Users.
  • Attribution is determined at the time of account registration.
  • Attribution cannot be transferred or retroactively applied.
  • Self-referrals are strictly prohibited.
  • Duplicate, fraudulent, or manipulation-based accounts are not eligible.

Rival reserves the right to determine final attribution in the event of technical disputes.

4. Referral Compensation

4.1 Platform Revenue Structure

Rival retains a 15% platform fee on all eligible Rival tool runs.

  • 5% of total run revenue → Referrer
  • 10% of total run revenue → Rival
  • 85% of total run revenue → Tool Creator

Referral compensation is paid exclusively from Rival’s platform fee and does not reduce the tool creator’s 85% share.

4.2 Annual Cap

Referral earnings are capped at $500 per referred user per calendar year. Once the cap is reached, additional earnings will resume in the next calendar year.

4.3 Eligible Revenue

  • Verified paid Rival tool runs
  • Revenue processed through Rival billing systems
  • Revenue not subject to chargebacks or disputes

Rival reserves the right to exclude revenue deemed fraudulent or invalid.

5. Payment Terms

  • Referral earnings are calculated monthly.
  • Payments are issued on a Net 30 basis.
  • Participants must provide valid payment information.
  • Participants are responsible for all applicable taxes.

Rival may withhold payments in cases of suspected fraud or violations of these Terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Self-referrals or fake accounts
  • Spam or misleading promotions
  • Misrepresentation of Rival
  • Manipulation of tracking systems
  • Unauthorized paid advertising using Rival keywords

Violations may result in termination from the program and forfeiture of unpaid earnings.

7. Program Modification and Termination

Rival reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time, including changes to payout percentages, caps, or eligibility requirements.

8. No Employment or Partnership

Participation in the Program does not create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship with Rival.

9. Limitation of Liability

Rival shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of anticipated earnings, tracking failures, or service interruptions.
